Anzac Experience with Charlie Koala & Dr Rod

16th & 17th May | 9am - 3pm​​​​​​​​​

Join us for a special weekend at Swan Settlers Market as Charlie Koala presents a truly unique piece of living history - Dr. Rod Thelander’s ANZAC Jeep, recently featured in the 2026 Perth ANZAC Day Parade.

This iconic vehicle helped transport SASR veterans during the parade, and now you have the opportunity to see it up close, learn its story, and get your photo alongside Dr. Rod’s 1944 Willys MB Jeep - a moment to remember.

Bring the kids, bring the family, and take a moment to reflect, learn, and appreciate the stories behind the service.

Whether you're a cosplayer, collector, or fan, you’ll find something to love. From unique handmade pieces to secondhand costumes and cosplay essentials.

Military Expo

History comes alive this June as the WA 10th Light Horse Association brings an unforgettable World War I Military Expo to the Swan Valley for a powerful weekend of heritage, stories, and hands-on experiences for the whole family.

Witness incredible living history displays from the Westralian Great War Living History Association, where reenactors portray the courage, sacrifice, and everyday realities of Australian soldiers and nurses during the Great War.

Discover the remarkable role animals played during wartime with the Australian War Animal Memorial Organisation, sharing moving stories of the loyal horses and dogs who served alongside our troops.

Throughout the weekend, explore authentic military displays, historical equipment, vehicles, and interactive exhibits that transport you back to a defining moment in history.

Get ready for a wild day out as reptiles and snakes take over Swan Settlers Market.
