Kids in March

Bring the whole family to Swan Settlers Market this March for a fun-filled day of face painting and furry friends!

Let the kids’ imaginations run wild with beautiful face painting designs, from magical fairies to fierce tigers! Then, get up close and personal with Farmer Damian’s adorable petting zoo, where little ones can meet and learn about their favorite farm animals.

After all the fun, explore our indoor and outdoor play zones, cozy up in the reading nook, or enjoy delicious treats and warm drinks from our food stalls. And don’t forget to browse our unique stalls for something special to take home!

KCBS Certified Barbeque Judge

Are you passionate about barbeque? Want to learn what it takes to judge world-class barbeque competitions? Join us for a fun and educational experience!

This 4-hour theory and practical course is open to everyone aged 16 and over. By the end of the day, you’ll understand:
- What barbeque / competition barbeque is all about
- The players involved in the barbeque world
- KCBS rules and the KCBS scoring system
- How to judge a contest (from sign-up to thanking the organiser)
- And, of course, how to taste real competition-grade barbeque!

This April, bring the whole family to Swan Settlers Market for a month-long celebration of fun, laughter, and excitement for the kids!

Let the little ones get creative with beautiful face painting designs—from magical fairies to dinosaurs! Then, they can meet and interact with Farmer Damian’s adorable petting zoo, filled with friendly farm animals.

The fun doesn't stop there! Get up close with reptiles, and enjoy a thrilling Easter egg hunt that the kids will love. There's something for everyone in the family!

Military Expo

5th & 6th April 2025 9:00am - 4pm

Take an extraordinary journey into the heart of the Great War as the WA 10th Light Horse Association brings World War I to life in a powerful and immersive experience.

Witness living history in action as passionate reenactors from the Westralian Great War Living History Association recreate the bravery, hardship, and resilience of WWI soldiers and nurses with stunning accuracy.

Discover the unsung heroes of war with the Australian War Animal Memorial Organisation, sharing incredible stories of the loyal dogs who served alongside our troops.

Step into the past with authentic military weapons, vehicles, and displays, transporting you to the battlefields of a bygone era.

Family-friendly fun! Kids can pose with our adorable fiberglass miniature horse and explore life-sized WWI vehicles, complete with real jackets and iconic slouch hats. Plus Saturday there is a Petting Zoo as well!
