Inspired by a small Banksia seed pod, Clare started Blue Banksia Jewellery in 2015. She grew up around nature living in the Perth hills, and this is what still inspires her today. Her dad is a carpenter/woodturner and together they create jewellery in his workshop, which is finished, in Clare's small studio. Clare works full time at a local Perth University, but dreams of making jewellery as a full time occupation.
